This residential resort community is located on approximately 4,000 acres and includes 6,000 home sites and approximately 1,200 acres of greenbelt, park, or recreation area with some of the boundaries adjoining Tahoe National Forest. Tahoe Donner® was originally established in the early 1970’s, so there are homes and cabins varying in age throughout the subdivision. This subdivision offers a plethora of amenities such as: a campground, equestrian facilities, the second largest cross country ski facility in North America, downhill skiing, a snow play area, a championship 18-hole golf course, a clubhouse, outdoor pools, year round lap pool, 11 tennis courts, private beach club marina and boat facilities at Donner Lake, hiking and biking trails, and a recreation center with weight room, spas, sauna, and a steam room.
